Bridgestone is committed to helping build a safer, more agreeable automobile society.
To that end, we conduct safety education programs throughout the world to encourage motorists to routinely inspect their tires. We also actively fund and participate in many global safety programs and initiatives.
Global projects
“THINK BEFORE YOU DRIVE” is a global road safety initiative of the global Bridgestone Group, the FIA Foundation and automobile clubs in each country.
The global Bridgestone Group, teaming up with the FIA Foundation and each automobile club communicate the importance of “checking tires”, “fastening seat belts”, “driving in the correct posture” and “using child restraints” to drivers.
Bridgestone supports “MAKE ROADS SAFE” campaign, which is calling on the international community to recognize road traffic injuries as a global health and safety problem, and to take urgent action to stop the daily tragedy of thousands of preventable deaths and injuries.
