Rules
-
Travel Time
The race starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM, with only 9 hours of driving time per day. If the time limit is exceeded, penalties will be applied.
-
Vehicle Inspection
Before the race, “static inspections” and “dynamic inspections” (test runs) will be conducted. To participate in the actual race, it is essential to pass both inspections on-site.
-
Inspection During Race
At each control stop, all teams must stop for 30 minutes to inspect their vehicles. If the vehicle is deemed unsafe, such as being unable to travel at speeds over 60 km/h, or if it is judged impossible to reach the goal within the allotted time, the vehicle will be regarded as ‘no longer competing’ as per the rules.
-
Other Safety Rules
Various safety rules are in place to protect the teams pushing their limits, including having support cars accompany the vehicle from front and rear, securing drinking water to prevent heatstroke, adhering to legal speed limits, ensuring clear visibility in all directions, equipping lights and turn signals, maintaining proper posture while driving, and the mandatory use of seat belts and helmets.
