Tokyo (April 30, 2010)—Bridgestone Corporation is to scheduled to exhibit at the Japan Pavilion at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China (Shanghai Expo) which opens on May 1, 2010., Bridgestone will participate in “Safety & Eco Station in Shanghai,” an event organized by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), which will be located on the event stage from July 9 to July 14.
“Safety & Eco Station in Shanghai” is an exhibit which will include displays on eco-friendly driving techniques, tips on how to become a safer driver and will encourage motorists to drive responsibly every time they get behind the wheel. In this multi-media presentation, Bridgestone will showcase its road safety initiatives as well as its environmental campaign “MAKE CARS GREEN,” which it carries out in Japan in cooperation with JAF. The presentation will also include important information on tire technologies such as Bridgestone Ecopia that are more environmentally friendly by improving fuel economy while also providing excellent overall performance and no compromise in wet handling ability.
