Bridgestone Donates to Relief Efforts in Japan

TOKYO (April 19, 2016) - With deep condolences for the victims and those who lost loved ones as a result of the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake, which occurred in April, 2016, Bridgestone Corporation announced today that it will donate 20 million yen (approximately 174,000 USD) to support relief efforts, 10 million yen each to the Japanese Red Cross Society and to Kumamoto prefecture respectively.

The Bridgestone Group sincerely hopes for a swift recovery of the people and the areas impacted by this devastating natural disaster.
