The Bridgestone Group works with customers and suppliers to balance products and services with environmental considerations and reduce its footprint. This effort occurs throughout the lifecycle from procurement of raw materials to after-use products. This is in line with the goals set in the Group’s Environmental Mission Statement: achieve harmony with nature, value natural resources and reduce CO2 emissions.
For all of its products and services, the Group developed standards for Eco-Products based on the three environmental goals identified above, combined with two user factors: comfort and safety.
