Tokyo (Dec 9, 2016) - Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone) today announced that its POTENZA S001L Run-Flat Technology (RFT) tires and TURANZA T005 RFT tires will be the standard tire mounted on the LEXUS LC500/LC500h, new luxury coup? slated to launch in 2017.
POTENZA S001L RFT and TURANZA T005 RFT tires were designed exclusively by Bridgestone for the LEXUS LC500/LC500h in order to achieve the superior driving performance of the vehicle. The tires give the driver reliable control and also ensure a luxury ride. RFT tires also can help reduce the total weight of a vehicle because they eliminate the need for a spare tire, as RFT tires from Bridgestone can travel up to 80 kilometers (50 miles) at up to 80km (50miles) per hour to safety after a puncture or loss of pressure.
