Review BWSC 2023 - How do you feel when looking back on this year's race?

The whole team is delighted to have become Cruiser Class champions for the first time, but we are disappointed in the charging conditions we faced in Tennant Creek.

How important are tyres for a solar car? And what do you think about BS ENLITEN® tyre?
Is there any tyre performance you would expect for 2025?

Tires are critical for reducing the energy consumption of a solar electric vehicle. While solar and battery levels are important, overall mechanical design to reduce drag and rolling resistance are also critical in stretching vehicle performance. The ENLITEN® tires and their consistency on the road allowed us to have greater confidence in the vehicle's abilities and range during the challenge.

Resolution for BWSC 2025 - Please share your target goal for next year's race. How do you plan to improve this year's machine?

Lightweight chassis program, alternative solar array, increased battery cooling.

Message to the future teammates aspiring to compete BWSC 2025

The BWSC is a truly unique experience and a sort of engineering forum where you get to meet such unique people from all over the world. The harshness of the challenge and environment make for a truly exciting and enjoyable competition that allows brilliant student engineering to shine.
